I like to call my writing California Fiction. It’s just like Southern Fiction, but without all that humidity.

Which is to say, my fiction has a certain flavor that is distinctly Californian: opportunity, diversity, and an oddball (or two). And befitting the state with mountains, beaches and redwood trees – beauty. Beauty that stirs your spirit, soul, and funny bone.

Well, I hope so anyway.

But I’m a confabulator, so how can we be sure?

Confabulator: Person who confabulates. To confabulate is a form of mental illness in which the person fabricates to cover a gap in memory or knowledge. Honest lying.
