Or, maybe, people coming up with these things, need to read them. I think there must be people putting pithy words together without considering the meaning.
Or, maybe this was written for some raving lunatic of a perfectionist that doesn’t possess an ounce of grace. Then, YES!But, in my experience, the people I would tell you have “disappointed” me, well, they failed to uphold their word. They failed to uphold the basic agreements we have in society of how to be a parent, friend, spouse, co-worker.
And I’m tired of being told– or living– as though it was my fault.
I didn’t expect too much of them. They expected too little.
